ON AUGUST 17, 2001 OUR FRIEND, SPIRIT SISTER AND BANDMATE LYNETTE BRAWER AND HER SON JOEY SUFFERED SERIOUS INJURIES FROM SMOKE INHALATION DURING A FIRE WHILE THEY WERE VISITING LYNETTE'S FATHER'S IN NEW YORK.. THEY WERE IN COMAS IN A HOSPITAL AND WERE TAKEN OFF LIFE SUPPORT ON AUGUST 19, 2001.. THEY ARE NO LONGER WITH US IN THIS PHYSICAL LIFE..

WORDS CANNOT DESCRIBE THE SENSE OF LOSS, SHOCK AND GRIEF OF FRIENDS AND FAMILY AT LOSING OUR WONDERFUL, TALENTED, BEAUTIFUL LYNETTE AND JOEY.. OUR LIVES WILL NEVER BE THE SAME.. THEY WILL BE MISSED SO, SO, SO MUCH..
