Dorothy and Dayve

Dorothy Sherman and Dayve Shannon have played music together for 10 years. Now based in Southwest Florida (Charlotte County), they have performed at nursing homes, assisted living facilities, senior centers, retirement communities as well as parties, festivals, clubs, schools, weddings, children’s shows and more.
Dayve has worked or volunteered in assisted living communities for over 10 years.
He has over 30 years experience performing a wide range of music and plays guitar, bass and sings.
Dorothy has extensive singing experience and a fair number of instrumental skills. Included in a life of diverse training, is some background in education . She enjoys working with people of all ages, especially children.
Their hometown is Punta Gorda, Florida, about 100 miles south of Tampa and 20 miles north of Forts Myers.
Dorothy and Dayve have a wide ranging repertoire that includes Celtic/Irish music, oldies but goodies everyone still remembers and likes, blues, fun bluegrass and country songs, folk, “standards”, sing alongs, interactive songs, and a spice of variety. Something for most everyone and with some good, clean humor thrown in. Puppets can also be available.
Dorothy and Dayve (sometimes called 4Ever Erin2) have entertained audiences in Maryland, Delaware, Washington, D.C., Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey as well as Florida and West Virginia.
